Absolute Monarchy

a form of government headed by a ruler, or monarch, with unlimited power

Constitutional Monarchy

type of government in which the ruler is nothing more than the symbolic head of state, are considered democratic because the ultimate power rests with the elected individuals

Democracy

a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them

Dictator

A ruler who has complete power over a country

Dictatorship

a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.)

Equality

having the same conditions and opportunities as everyone else

Executive Branch

the branch of the United States government that is responsible for carrying out the laws

Freedom of Assembly

rights of citizens to gather in groups for political and other purposes

Freedom of Speech

the right to express oneself, with words or actions (verbally or symbolically). This freedom is guaranteed in the First Amendment to the US Constitution; although the Supreme Court has ruled that this freedom is not absolute: it should not be applied when it endangers or harms the lives, liberty or property of others.
