How To Correct: "My turn!" model answer 'Your turn!" shows correction Start again 2 words back.

(PBIS 1) "Today you're going to practice blending sounds to make words to help you become a better reader. I'll tap a cube as I say each sound in the word. When I slide under the cube you'll say the whole word."

(PBIS 2) "I'll model for you how to blend the sounds I say into a word. I'll model two words. My turn."

(PBIS 3) Show Example: tap /f/, tap /e/, slide /fee/. tap /a/, tape /t/, swipe /at/.*

(PBIS 4) "I'll say the sounds in a word. When I signal, you say the word. Your turn."

(LSCIS 1) "Today you're going to practive saying the sounds for some letters to help you become an even better reader. When I point to the left of letter, figure out the sound in your head. When I touch under the letter, say the sound as long as I continue to touch under the letter."

(LSCIS 2) "I'll model for you how to say the sound of the first two letters when I touch under them. My turn!"

(LSCIS 3) Show Example: touch left, touch under /a/, touch left, touch under /c/

(LSCIS 4) "Each Time I touch under a letter, you say the sound it makes. Your turn!"

(BWIS 1) "Today you're going to practice blending sounds to become and even better reader. When I touch under the letter you'll say the sound for that letter. When I slide my finger under the whole word, you'll say the word. When you blend, don't stop between sounds."

(RRCIS 3) Record WRC/errors per minute and graph (self or student). Correct errors

(RRCIS 4) Set timer for 1 minute, "Who or What is the passage mostly about." Student reads and Tutor marks errors on assesor copy.

(RRCIS 5) "Who or What is the passage mostly about?" model answer Record WCR/errors per minute and graph (self or student). Correct errors. Specific feedback.

(RRCIS 6) Set timer for 1 minute "What is the most important thing about (Who or What)?" Student reads and Tutor marks error on assesor copy.

(RRCIS 7) "What is the most important thing about (Who or What)?" Model answers. Record WCR/errors per mminute and graph (self or student). Correct errors. Specific feedback.

(RRCIS 7) Set timer for 1 minute "Predict what the rest of the passage will be about." Student reads and Tutor marks errors on assesor copy.

(RRCIS 8) "What do you think will happen in the rest of the passage?" Model answer. Record WRC/error per minute and graph (self or student). Correct errors. Specific feedback.

(RRCIS 9) "Now keep your voice with mine as we read the rest of the passage together so we can find out if you prediciton was accurate."

(RRCIS 10) "You predicted that ___ would happen. Was your prediciton accurate?" Specific feedback.

(RRCIS 11) "What does the passage make you think about?" Model and provide praise.

How To Correct: "My turn!" model answer 'Your turn!" shows correction Start back at begining of sentence.
